Follicle by definition, well hair follicle by definition from (Cleveland Clinic 2022) A hair follicle is a tube-like structure (pore) that surrounds the root and strand of a hair. Hair follicles exist in the top two layers of your skin. You’re born with over 5 million hair follicles in your body and over one million hair follicles on your head. As you age, hair grows out of your hair follicles.
Your hair follicle is one of a few structures in your body that can stop functioning and begin functioning again (degenerate and regenerate). This process helps with hair growth on your body.

Family, friends and foes all play a vital role in the production, stagnation or reproduction of those follicles. Family genetics are relatable to common hair loss problems like alopecia, male pattern balding or maybe having very thick or thin hair.
Friends may have an influence due to trends and styles that are current or popular. Be mindful of hairstyles that have too much tension to avoid follicles from becoming damaged. Do you have friends or foes that encourage you to look your best or grunge it out? Family, friends and foes can all cause stress, leaving you with brittle neglected and unmaintained hair.
Faith goes a long way. It’s an act so much stronger than hope. Pray for your hair, your scalp. your crown. Believe in yourself to get the results you desire. Yet sometimes we all don’t get what we pray for. I do believe it helps with the understanding that God has made us in His image. There aren’t any mistakes.
Always remember to be a friend to yourself first and remember to appreciate what you have. Learn to love your (hair) self just as well with what you don’t.
